Shallow Fields Production Unit – Mtsare Khevi Field – Operations Gallery, August 2011 – November 2011

In September 2011 drilling operations commenced at the Mtsare Khevi #31 well, the first of a planned 20 well program over the next 24 months designed to exploit multiple Upper Pliocene sandstone reservoirs situated at a depth of approximately 300 meters.

Following the completion of the #31 well, the Mtsare Khevi drilling campaign moved on to the #32 well, also located in the undeveloped northwestern portion of the field.

Testing results from the #32 well have signaled the expansion in size of the Mtsare Khevi field’s gas potential by as much as five times the previously identified recoverable gas estimates associated with historical work in the field.
