Basin Edge Play Unit – Field Work and 2D Seismic Campaign

April 2005: Frontera’s field geology research team working in the Basin Edge Play Unit. The research team undertook work related to a fracture identification study, a hydro-geologic study and a sedimentology study.

June 2005: Frontera’s field geology research team acquiring an extensive gravity survey over the Basin Edge ‘C’ prospect.

August 2005: Global Geophysical’s vibroseis trucks and associated equipment in Houston, Texas U.S.A. awating mobilization to Georgia for use in Frontera’s planned 2005 seismic program.

September 2005: Rising from the cargo hold of the ship that made the Atlantic Ocean crossing, Global Geophysical’s seismic acquisition equipment offloading at the Black Sea port of Poti. From Poti, the cargo was prepared for its final journey by rail across Georgia to Frontera’s operations in Block 12.

September 2005: After a journey of nearly 400 kilometers by rail, Global Geophysical’s equipment arrives in Block 12 at the town of Dedolplitskaro in eastern Georgia within the area of the Basin Edge Play Unit.

September 2005: Seismic field crews survey and mark planned lines for acquisition. Special attention is taken to ensure minimal disruption to the natural environment within the planned acquisition area.
